Report a Grooming Concern

If a pet was injured, mishandled, or put at risk during grooming, this is the place to report it.

Use this form to report:

  • Injury during grooming (cuts, burns, falls, overheating, etc.)

  • Unsafe handling or restraint

  • Severe neglect of welfare standards

  • A salon operating in a way that puts pets at risk

  • A professional claiming IAPEG credentials that may be false

What to Include:

To help us review your report, please include:

  • Groomer or salon name + city/state (if known)

  • Date of the incident

  • What happened (facts, step-by-step if possible)

  • Outcome (vet visit, treatment, ongoing issues)

  • If they claimed IAPEG certification (yes / no / not sure)

  • Any documentation you have (vet note, invoice, photos—mention it in your message)

After you submit, we’ll review your report and follow up by email if we need more details. Every report is logged and taken seriously.
